Coral & Mint Floral Basket

This wall hanging is made with a detailed wicker basket, macramé and weaving techniques, and 3 different types of fibre: natural, unbleached cotton cord, mint felted wool yarn, and coral chiffon ribbon. The natural cord makes up the front "basket" portion, which is interwoven with the wool yarn and chiffon ribbon. The basket is filled with mixed-fibre flowers made using a variety of techniques. This piece has a nice long fringe too: the ends of the natural cord are knotted with a "shell" design, and when combined with the delicate chiffon ribbon gives the piece a flow-y, beach-y vibe. The wicker basket itself is 9 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. The entire piece from top to bottom is 34.5 inches. Comes with a string attached at the back for easy hanging.
